A classic yet refined design since it's inception to the Honda line in 1983. The Honda Shadow refers to a family of motorcycles made by Honda since 1983. This Honda is a cruiser-type motorcycle, meaning it has a relaxed, feet-forward riding position and wide handlebars. This makes it more comfortable than a sportbike, although the lack of fairings means that the rider is exposed more to the wind.  Easily solved with the addition of an aftermarket windshield. All Shadow cruisers are equipped with V-twin engines.

The VT1100C'94 Shadow 1100 was sold in 1994 in one of seven colors: Candy Spectra Red, South Pacific Blue Metallic, Black, American Red, Pearl Coronado Blue, Pearl Atlantis Blue, or Pearl Bermuda Green. The solid colors have only a standard logo. The two-tone colors were available with standard or secondary logo. The engine was a 1099cc SOHC 3-valve liquid-cooled V-twin linked to a 4-speed transmission and shaft drive.
