Where to start? Turn the key. The smooth growl from deep within is letting you know that this Twin Spar Ride is home to the 4-stroke 1056cc EFI parallel twin. Before you put thumb to throttle, a word of caution. This vision of snowmobiling perfection is harboring the turbocharged version of the Z1™ and thus may not be suitable for the meek of horsepower. You’ve been warned. Now let her rip. Once the Cat™ is out of the bag nothing will catch you. The machine stays straight thanks to a front end with near-zero bump steer. Response is intuitive, and without hesitation. The Slide-Action Rear Suspension incorporates a U-shaped front arm slot dedicating a full half-inch of travel to soaking up the bumps. The design is impeccable, the fit and finish flawless. As for the riding position, you couldn’t ask for better. Get a load of the LXR models with the Deluxe Gauge, heated seat and Infinite Rider Positioning. IRP gives you an adjustable seat, adjustable handlebars, even adjustable footrests. This is performance refined. Is it over the top? You know it is.

SLIDE-ACTION REAR SUSPENSION: The Slide-Action Rear Suspension,™ straight from the Sno Pro race sled, incorporates a U-shaped front arm slot that fits over a shaft bolted across the tunnel. This creates a half-inch of “sliding” movement. The half-inch prevents the front arm from torque locking. Better still, it helps keep the skis planted during acceleration, all but eliminating ski lift when gassing it through the corners.


4 STROKE Z1 ENGINE: This is a 1056cc 4-Stroke twin with Electronic Fuel Injection. This 2-cylinder power plant produces awesome power and performance.


TWIN SPAR CHASSIS: Designed and manufactured to be incredibly rigid, the Twin Spar chassis employs two box-aluminum spars triangulated with the steering supports and tunnel spars. Self-piercing rivet construction ensures joint rigidity and long-lasting strength. This year the Twin Spar chassis is “tipped” to place you in the perfect neutral riding position and lower the center of gravity. In concert with a taller seat and handlebar location, this position maximizes comfort and control in all riding conditions.


ACT DIAMOND DIRECT DRIVE W/REVERSE: The tough-as-nails ACT™ Diamond Direct Drive™ planetary gear case allows lower track speed at clutch engagement without sacrificing top speed. This means a smooth ride from start to finish. Plus you get the added convenience of reverse with a push of the button.
